Both back labels were the result of many different iterations on the brand story. Ultimately, it was about communicating what the brand was about, the process that creates the spirits, and a taste description, all in an efficient way that made the most of the space on the label.

"We take the best from the past and marry it to the best of today," along with, "combining time-honoured tradition with state of the art distilling equipment" were both the initial focus of the brand. It was this idea of being inspired by the past and using everything we have available to us in the modern age to create something great, while paying respect to both.

In terms of flavour profile, vodka was about highlighting its quality. A high quality vodka isn't "tasteless" but rather, has a very clean, pure taste. It doesn't require anything else. Gin on the other hand is about being a lighter, summertime drink, and is defined by the botanicals that are infused into the base spirit.
